Good news!

I just got 11.5 mpg with my last tank of gas! I'm eccited. I was also driving with quite the heavy foot this tank. [just like all my other tanks] Why the change? Dunno...didn't drive it on the highway or anything. The scary part is, I filled up a few minutes ago when the gas gauge said just a hair below half and it took 18.4 gallons! I should burn a whole tank through on the highway to see what's the best mileage I can possibly get.

In other news, I think I got a job today. V&R Tire in Villa Park. Seems like a nice enough place. I'm just an apprentice, so it doesn't have the glory of maybe a night stocker at the local Wal-Mart, but that's ok. My only concern thus far is that it's in Villa Park. Like a half hour away from home. I don't like commuting, so we'll see how that goes. I applied at the one in Lisle, which is like 5 minutes from my house, so I hope they transfer me there or somethin. I start tomorrow at 7am. Needless to say, I'm kinda nervous. I'll tell you how it goes.
