first lab day of engine class....

Well, now that we've gotten through all the preliminary crap, we finally got into the lab tonite. It was cool. I got to replace timing belts on a GM 4 banger and a 3.0 V6 on a Nissan Maxima. Fun stuff. My teacher's even a Mopar guy! How lucky is that?! He drives a 1967 Chrysler New Yorker! Crazy.

On another note, this morning and last night I started reprogramming my Pod cause I was bored. I'm trying to get it to sound gooder. Those of you in the college group will hopefully hear the fruit of my labor sometime soon. Should be quality. For those of you not in the college group, maybe if I get bored enough, I'll post some samples online someplace. That'd be cool.

[this following part added on later]
Ok, here's the first new tone I made...not done yet, but you can see where I'm trying to go cause I put the inspiration clip on there too. See, the difference between my tone and his tone is about 20,000$ worth of guitar equipment, if not more. I think I'm pretty close, considering that. Plus, on top of all that, I'm running this direct without speakers, so I can't get the feedback sustain thing going at all, hence the dryness. Live this'd be alot easier to reproduce. Here's the same tone, different song...that tone gets real fluid like that too, I love it. I think I can make it better tho...we'll see...
