so loud music is really cool, ok?

Yeah. Music is better loud. Unless it's poorly mixed and it gets painful. That's a different story. Ok, on to the real story.

So like a week ago or something [I can't remember the day], my hard drive's bearing seized up. Fun, huh? You know what that means? Every picture I've ever taken, every mp3 I've ever ripped from my cds, made with one of my bands, or illegally downloaded, every downloaded movie, every downloaded tv show, everything all of my bands ever did is all gone. 100GB worth. You have any idea how much stuff that is? It's alot. Lemme put it into perspective. That's 128 cd's full. Not audio cd's, data cd's. That's a lot. So, every trace of my picturetaking career, all of my bands, and my obsession with the Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, and good movies is all gone. It sucks. Had me bummed for like a week, cause it was my fault. I neglected to put the side on my computator. Yep. I'm still not happy, but I put the drive back into its orginal packaging, cause I found out that I can get all that data back. Sounds good, huh? Yeah, slight catch. 600-3000$ of a catch. Consequently, it's gonna stay in that original packaging until I'm unpoor. [aka quite a while] But that's ok, cause I can get them back. On to gooder news.

I got a job. A real job. Who'da thunk it?! Yep. I make caramel and dip apples in it at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in downtown Naperville. Also candy apples. I've never a candy apple. I do know that the stuff you dip apples in to make them is reallyfreakinghot. 300 degrees. That's really hot. Plus, when it splashes, it's really hard to get of your skin. Not fun. Oh! and I make fudge too. That's also hot. So it caramel. But it's ok. I get paid real money, and real money equals new car for dave in the nearer future. And recovered data. All good. Now all I gotta do is work my butt off to make money, just like the rest of you guys. Cool, huh?

Ok, another idea. Ethan was talking about hanging out in the woods and it gave me an idea. [by the way, read E's post beneath this one] I think we should get some jr high guys together and bring them out to my aunt's house for an overnighter. See, out in unincorporated Elwood, there is no law. How can that not be bad? It'd be sweet. I still gotta plan stuff and talk to Luke and Matt. But this should be cool. The offer is also open to jr high girl leaders for a different night, or they could stay on a different part of the property, if that ends up being ok with the parents and such. We might wanna get some real adults involved in this if the plan gets bigger tho. In any case, I think it'd be a blast. Tell me whatcha think. Till I actually have something else interesting to say, go do something creative.

first lab day of engine class....

Well, now that we've gotten through all the preliminary crap, we finally got into the lab tonite. It was cool. I got to replace timing belts on a GM 4 banger and a 3.0 V6 on a Nissan Maxima. Fun stuff. My teacher's even a Mopar guy! How lucky is that?! He drives a 1967 Chrysler New Yorker! Crazy.

On another note, this morning and last night I started reprogramming my Pod cause I was bored. I'm trying to get it to sound gooder. Those of you in the college group will hopefully hear the fruit of my labor sometime soon. Should be quality. For those of you not in the college group, maybe if I get bored enough, I'll post some samples online someplace. That'd be cool.

[this following part added on later]
Ok, here's the first new tone I made...not done yet, but you can see where I'm trying to go cause I put the inspiration clip on there too. See, the difference between my tone and his tone is about 20,000$ worth of guitar equipment, if not more. I think I'm pretty close, considering that. Plus, on top of all that, I'm running this direct without speakers, so I can't get the feedback sustain thing going at all, hence the dryness. Live this'd be alot easier to reproduce. Here's the same tone, different song...that tone gets real fluid like that too, I love it. I think I can make it better tho...we'll see...

Hourglass [the quality song i'm listenin to]

I'm bored, and Priscilla says I should blog. I don't really have much to talk about, my life's pretty boring. I guess I could talk about college group. We had a cool meeting tonite. It was quality. Reminded me of the Rock back in the day, like my first time there. It kinda felt like that. Tons of people came up to me and talked to me just to introduce themselves. It was cool. I felt welcome. That was quality. We had some good worship too. I met the guy in charge of it, too. He seems cool. What else is there to say? Grant's cool, but we already knew that from Addison. He spoke on how God is big. It was cool.

Was that good enough Priscilla?
