So I had some time on my hands....

I found some old pictures from school last year, and look what happened. New picture at the top. That sunset was gettin a little cheesy for me, sorry. I dunno what to call that new picture. I think its title should be "reality." Yeah, that sounds good. Reflects the dark reality of the world we're living in. It's our job to be servants of our Lord and be a beacon in that mess. Sound kinda dismal? Yeah, it would be, were we fighting against the world alone. But we're not, so it's ok. We got that guy on our side who won't give up on us no matter how much we screw up or rebel against Him. How cool is that? I think we need to think more. Alot more. At least me. If I just put some thought into my actons, I could overcome all the temptations set before me, with divine help. There's nothing He can't do. What else do we need to know? Well, I guess what He wants us to do. Share our faith. For the first time in 5 1/2 years, I'm in an environment where I'm not surrounded by "Christians" all the time. I'm finally realizing what reality's really like. Being in Christian education sheltered me from what really goes on. Now it's kinda shocking. I need to be outspoken about what I believe, no matter what the consequences. Who cares if I'm shunned? I could glorify my Lord in the process, and try to be different from the stereotypical auto students, be a reflection of the Light in the surrounding darkness, so to speak. So I've said the same thing over and over again, have I? Ok then, here's a challenge. What are you doing to fit in with the students around you? Are you doing anything? If not, then I applaud you. If you are, take a look at what you're doing, and see if it's glorifying to the Lord and then deal with it from there. Can we try this? Let's see...if all the like 10 people who read this blog can start doing this, then we can have 10 lights in the darkness, and in my homemade theory about light, light causes more light. Huh? Cause I said so, that's why. Do it! [shakes fist]
