? I did stuff today! It was fun. I cleaned out my car and like vacuumed it and washed the windows and stuff. Then I went to AutoZone and got a new window crank and some fuses...so now my window rolls down and the idiot lights on the dash work! How cool is that?! I gotta go back tomorrow and get some 5 amp fuses for the speedometer light. But yeah. I even cleaned out my trunk! It's crazy! All I have left to do is replace the heater core and fix the stuck vent cable, which both are relatively easy. Then I gotta give it new brake pads and get the rotors turned. Maybe I could look into fixing the squeaky suspension too...then it'd be all good! For the first time ever! But I gotta get the new car on the road too...that'll be even more fun! Yeah, what else did I do today...? Oh, I know. I went out and bought a new microwave and installed it in our kitchen cause our old one's been broken for like a month...and I started putting screws in the floor in the hallway to get rid of the squeaks, one of the steps towards getting carpet. I also helped my mom out at work with her computalator. [figure out how to pronounce that one] Yeah, I was kinda busy. It was fun! I felt like a grownup! Now all I need is a job...I'm actually gonna actively look for one now, cause I need money. I really wanna get that new car on the road! Then I wanna modify the crap out of it! It'll be sweet! Really, howmany of your cars [with automatic transmissions] can squeal the tires going into 2nd and 3rd? Go try it sometime. It won't happen in a stock car. It's fun when you car can do it tho, you'll understand more when you ride in and/or drive my new one. And next week my friend Joe and I are gonna put a new exhaust on his 5.0 Mustang, to make it louder and make it go faster, both good things. My new car will shake the ground as it goes by, idling! That's what happens when you have a built 440 with a rough cam, headers and 3 inch dual exhaust goin into Dynomax mufflers with no tailpipes. Quality, if you ask me. Then we paint the car a dark color, and it'll be sweet. I was thinkin about putting some 20 or 22 inch wheels on it, to give it that new style, but some of my Mopar friends thing thats like blasphemy or something. I still think itd look cool. Whatever. Some 17 inch Cragar S/S's would look just as nice I guess, with some nice fat tires on them. It'd be sweet. Just wait. It'll look stock on the outside [cept for the wheels, but thats a very common modification on any old car] but then have like 600-700 horsepower, enough to burn anything on the street, including, but not limited to: Firebirds, Trans Ams, Camaro SS's, Mustang GTs, Mustang Cobras, Corvette Z06's, any/all imports, even Vipers! Oboy, I can't wait! It's gonna be so much fun! Who would suspect a giant sedan would have such capabilities? Nobody cept youguys, that's who! on a sidenote: dave's car of the post: holy crap. this is what my new yorker's gonna be like. does that car look fast? no. is it? take a guess. it turns low 10's. that's more than 2 seconds faster than a viper. it's fast. posted by dave @ 9:27 PM |
