mmmm...

I read this in Car Craft today and totally had to share it with you guys. Cheeks, you'll appreceate this one. They do these In and Out Lists that readers write in. I like them.

In: The '05 Mustang
Out: Econo-bubble cars.
In: 400-plus hp, union-built, American iron, cement-sizzling, straight pipes melting the plastic off the fenders on the rice-burner you just blew the doors off of...
Out: Forgetting what you were ranting about.
In: All the great information I get from Car Craft.

I liked that even tho I'm gonna get hassled about using something unorignal for my blog. I have no original material to write about. I still need a faster car. Mine needs a new rearend. But now I have something else to save up for. I wanna learn the cello. Just cause there is this cool Dream Theater song on their new cd [which you were supposed to buy, as I recall] that has a really cool cello part. I love the cello cause it gets so deep. This song featured what I think was the bottom of it's range, a low D. [sorry Priscilla, I was mistaken about it being a C before, I forgot my guitar was tuned funny] I like it. Any cello would sound sweet thru Dan's new mic and preamp. I guess any stringed instrument would...it's a nice mic. And preamp.

I needed something to write about, so I'm gonna suggest that any of you people who are interested at all in cars get the magazine Car Craft. It's only somethin like 10$ for a year subscription and it's the best car magazine I get. [and believe me, I get alot] I cannot wait to get out of high school. It'll be the best. No more crap to deal with. I will definately miss the Rock tho, cause I like it and I like Giles' leadership. He's cool. Always knows what to say, and what the right way is. Truly a man of God.

Anyway, I had a car in mind for my car of the post, but then I remembered I don't do that anymore, so I was kinda bummed. So I'm gonna do one.

dave's car of the post: 2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R. There were only 300 of these made. They're sweet. 385hp and 385lb-ft of torque. They only came with the 5.4 and a 6 speed. They also got the cool side exhaust and the ground effects. Can't forget the nice wheels and giant wing. All good.

Ok, on to bigger and gooder things. uhh...I get to go on a field trip today. Right now I'm sitting in our liberry at school during my 2nd hour studyhall and I can't wait to get out of here. We get to go to Navy Pier after 3rd to go see some crappy Shakespeare play. Doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun, but there is one good part. We have 75 kids going, but only one chaperone. Just one. And she's the englilish teacher nobody likes. It'll be quite interesting cause we need 2 buses and the last time I checked, she can only be on one at any given time. Has much potential for chaos. I'm good at that. Then I get to go home, and uh...do nothing for a few hours, then tomorrow, we get to finish filiming our movie! Hopefully...it'll be good. Fast cars and bad guys can't be a bad combination. We might have a little trouble with the explosions part, and our guns don't look very real...but I do have an entire cd of gun sound effects. That should make it better. Anyway, I need to get to doing something or I might get in trouble for doing nothing.
