Close encounters with the GT kind. The Mustang GT kind that is. A really freakin fast one as a matter of fact. I borrowed my friend Josh's Mustang for the movie we're making. Wow. You hafta hold onto the steering wheel when it downshifts. It doesn't push you back, it shoves you back. Plus it has the loudest Flowmasters on it. [drools] Sorry Chevy guys, and fellow Mopar addicts, but for late model cars, Ford's got the best exhaust tone. No contest. Vipers aren't v8's so they'r in a different category. I saw one today. He was having fun, you could tell. Every time he popped the clutch, I heard squeals and saw faint black marks. It was freakin loud too. He must have had a performance exhaust on there, but he had ugly gold wheels on it. What a waste. Anyway, I need a fast v8 rwd car. With a manual. Today's Mustang was an auto, which was a bummer. It made up for its shortcomings. 0-60 in less than 5.7 seconds, and I can attest to it. Let me tell you, I merged quite a few times. Punch it at like 15 and 70 zips by in too few seconds to count. All you're doing is holding on to the steering wheel, trying not to slide into the backseat. Man. And that's not even a 12 second car! I need a fast car. No doubt about it. posted by dave @ 6:52 PM |
