mmmmmm...

Heh, this is cool. I can see the left half of my face but I sure as heck can't feel it! I kinda talk funny tho. This is the first time in 4 years that I've had a cavity. First time since baby teeth. Owell. Wasn't as bad as expected. Can't eat for 2 hours tho. That's probly the worst part. I'm hungry.

I had the amazingest idea today. You guys know what cowl induction on a car is? It's like a big backwards hood scoop that faces the windshield and doesn't really help much. What if I had somebody make the top half of a cow [including the open-mouthed head] out of metal or somethin and mounted it to my hood and called it cow induction?! Wouldn't that be sweet?! It'd be like this:

guy with crappy camaro: I have a 4 inch cowl induction hood!
me: yeah, well I have a custom cow induction hood.
guy with crappy camaro: what?! I wish I had cow induction!
me: yeah you do.

And it'd be sweet cause it'd really seriously add some horsepower! Can it get any better? I guess I could draw a picture. But back to realityland. I found out that Olds 307's can't really be built for power cause of their tiny head ports and valves, but there are some things I could do to make it faster. Here's the current list:

K&N filter
wilder cam
Hedman Hedders
serious lack of catalytic converters
custom true dual exhaust including H-pipe
Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers [aka the really freakin loud kind]
B&M Shift Kit
And the most important part? A rearend swap! Did you know that right now I have 2.14 gears in there! CRAZY! I'm gonna go for 3.73 at least. That'll make it jump off the line by so much more. Maybe even burnout. Thad be cool. I'm also gonna cut weight by losing all the crap in the trunk. [including the spare and maybe the back seat if needed] Then maybe I could be 5.slow rustangs in their stock form. Maybe. Big maybe. Hopefully. We'll see. If at all possible, I'd like to swap in a Chevy 350. Thad make fastness very easy. You can get like 400 horses out of a oneathems for decentcheap. Anyway, I'm gonna go back to doin what I do best, instant messaging you guys and dreaming about my car tripping the lights at like 12 seconds.

dave's car of the post: 1996-2002 Dodge Viper GTS. By far my favorite car. [not including tuner versions of it] Looking amazing, putting out 450hp and 490lbft of torque in its stock form, turning a 1/4 mile in 12.4 seconds at 118mph and going 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, it's one heckofa sports car. Only offered in the best kind of transmission, a six speed manual, it's definately a driver's car. Want more pictures and info? www.dodge-vipers.com is my favorite site for them.
